Mod_cband installation error: apxs missing

If you are using OpenSuse, you will have to install apache2-devel package in order to install mod_cband on the server. Because the Internet version of Suse Linux is not same as the retail version.

How to install apache2-devel package on OpenSuse 10 ?

At first, you have to download one of following RPM package: this package includes aspx2 needed by mod_cband's installation process.

For Suse 10.1 32bit
http://upload.vinacis.com/host/185361F2/apache2-devel-2-2-0-21-i586.rpm.html

For Suse 10.1 64bit
http://upload.vinacis.com/host/56E22186/apache2-devel-2-2-0-21-x86-64.rpm.html

For Suse 10.2 32bit
http://upload.vinacis.com/host/FAE1E2CB/apache2-devel-2-2-3-20-i586.rpm.html

For Suse 10.2 64bit
http://upload.vinacis.com/host/1ABD9D04/apache2-devel-2-2-3-20-x86-64.rpm.html

Then type

# rpm -i package-name.rpm

After that, try to install mod_cband again and enjoy the features of Cband.
